GoGuardian is an education technology company which provides a full service set of extensions for schools that use Google Chromebooks. The company offers two different applications: Go Guardian for Admins (GGFA) and Go Guardian for Teachers (GGFT). GGFA provides extensive filtering and monitoring software for over 2 million school owned devices in the United States and around the world. GGFT, released in September 2015, is a new digital classroom management application which further empowers the 1:1 digital classroom. With GGFT, teachers can control their students Chromebooks in a number of different ways: they can monitor a student's activity; they can open and close a student's browser tabs; and they can provide individualized content depending on a particular student's learning needs.
