Based in Chicago, TIP Solutions, which stands for Technology in Progress, is steadily making a name for themselves in the mobile app industry. The team recently attended the CTIA conference in Las Vegas and left with 2 outstanding awards. One was for the best display at the entire conference and they also took home first place in the Start-Up Pitch Challenge. TIP Solutions is attempting to revolutionize the way people make and receive calls on their mobile devices. With apps such as Got-Call and Call Check, you may never have to let a missed call from a client or business prospect go unanswered. They are firm believers that the phone functionality of mobile devices has too long been neglected and they are aiming to change it for the better. With an eye on carriers and phone creators, TIP are targeting companies that will embed their apps right in the phone's firmware. But they are also developing stand alone apps for Android and iPhone as well. Just recently they released CallSnap which is an Android-only app that allows users to not just decline calls but instantly respond with a photo. You simply slide your finger to the CallSnap logo while your phone is ringing and instead of your caller being annoyed with having to leave a voicemail or receiving an automated text, they get a photo instantly that depicts why exactly you couldn't answer. The uses are endless and with over 10,000 downloads already, the team at TIP hope to launch many more apps in the future that are fun and useful.
