RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) is the software that MSPs (Managed Service Providers) use to remotely and proactively monitor client networks, computers and endpoints. MSPs would install an “agent”, a small software footprint, to deploy RMM on client workstations, devices, servers and endpoints and gather information about machine health and status, and also gain more insight about client networks. They can thus ensure that client systems are maintained and up-to-date and stay ahead of security issues. Thus RMM helps MSPs remotely install software and updates, administer patches, do remote desktop monitoring, render comprehensive support etc, all from a single, unified dashboard.
